Not only does it affect our health and our overall body it also affects the relationship of the people around us. According to the Society for Health Education and Promotion Specialists (SHEPS, 1997), mental health entails feeling good about oneself and others, as well as being cheerful, joyous, and loving. Biological, social, psychological, and environmental variables all have an impact on mental health and mental diseases.
Side effects
The side effects of not taking care of your mental health can be pretty damaging to your overall well-being. Some of the side effects of negative mental health are significant weariness, poor energy, sleeping difficulties, mood changes, suicidal thoughts, and reduced productivity.
